1. Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use this service. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

Use the service in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Not share offensive, illegal, or harmful content
Respect other users' rights and privacy
Not misuse the service or attempt to circumvent security measures

3. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on Myglimt and will result in immediate account suspension and possible referral to law enforcement:

3.1 Hate Speech

It is prohibited to publish content that threatens, mocks, or promotes hatred against individuals or groups based on ethnicity, national origin, religion, belief, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability.

3.2 Threats

It is prohibited to issue threats against other users or third parties — including threats of violence or harm to persons or property.

3.3 Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

This is the most serious violation of these terms. It is absolutely prohibited to upload, share, store, or distribute sexualised content involving minors (under 18 years of age) — including images, videos, drawings, or any other material.

Such content is a criminal offence under Norwegian law and may result in imprisonment.

Suspected content is immediately blocked and our system administrator is alerted. The administrator will without undue delay assess the matter as a possible criminal offence and report to:

3.4 Copyright Infringement

It is prohibited to upload or share content that infringes others' copyright — including images, music, video, or text you do not have the right to share. We will remove content upon notification from the rights holder.

3.5 Defamation

It is prohibited to publish false statements about individuals or businesses that are likely to damage their reputation.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. User Content

By sharing content (posts, images, comments) on the service:

You retain ownership of your content
You grant us permission to display and distribute the content as part of the service
You confirm that you have the right to share the content
You are responsible for the content you publish

6. AI-Generated Content

Myglimt offers AI-assisted text suggestions based on your images. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before publishing. Free users have 5 AI generations per day; premium users have unlimited access.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you via email or a message in the service. Continued use after notification is considered acceptance of the new terms.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time in your account settings.
